INCLUSION GROUPS: BUILDING A CULTURE OF BELONGING AND SUPPORTING DIVERSITY IN THE WORKFORCE

Inclusion Groups

At Ingersoll Rand, we bring our values to life. One of our core values, fostering inspired teams, aims to make employees feel safe, engaged and valued in the workplace.

One powerful step we have taken to connect employees across the globe is the launch of "inclusion groups." These voluntary, employee-led groups include underrepresented employees and allies in the organization to promote an inclusive culture in the workplace. We are proud to be part of a global movement of diversity. Our inclusion groups are the Black Employee Network Inclusion Group, the Women Inclusion Group, the Veteran Inclusion Group, the Hispanic/Latinx Organization for Leadership and Advancement, IRealabilities: Disability, Asian Inclusion Group and Pride Alliance.

WHAT BENEFITS DO MEMBERS ENJOY?

Inclusion group participants can expect to develop leadership skills, learn more about career development, networking and problem-solving skills. Inclusion-group members participate in a variety of multicultural events and community give-back campaigns, as well as business-related educational opportunities. Group leaders facilitate discussions and capitalize on their knowledge about topics of interest and life experiences -- an opportunity to grow, share and create change while building positive relationships. These experiences build camaraderie and a sense of personal and professional value for all participants.

LEADERSHIP THROUGH DIVERSE APPROACHES

At Ingersoll Rand we are committed to fostering diverse thinking and approaches to work processes and market initiatives. We know these will help us to maintain our leadership role in our industry. We are grateful to those who work for and with us—and are proud to offer new ways for all of us to come together and connect.
