AIR DRYERS PACKAGES

All units are fully packaged, including the in-house developed unit control system, and can be supplied in various configurations

Our compressed air systems utilize the latest technology to provide energy efficient solutions with low life-cycle costs. Air purity is attained by meeting strict international standards that can only be achieved with filtration, water separation and drying. The use of clean dry compressed air ensures high levels of reliability, and guarantees that quality standards are met and production costs are reduced.

How Engineered Instrument Air Dryers Work

A compressed air dryer is used for removing water vapor from compressed air.

The process of air compression concentrates atmospheric contaminants, including water vapor. This raises the dewpoint of the compressed air relative to free atmospheric air and leads to condensation within pipes as the compressed air cools downstream of the compressor, so compressed air including water vapor shall be removed through air dryer.

Almost every air system uses an after cooler (air cooled or water cooled) to cool compressed air as it exits the air compressor. The after cooler will cool the air. In almost all cases, the air exiting the after cooler is saturated, meaning it cannot hold any additional water vapor at its present temperature and pressure.

Instrument Air Dryer Packages

The instrument air dryer packages are supplied as custom to meet the client’s requirements. The instrument air dryer packages are equipped with its instruments, junction boxes, and the PLC based controller. Ingersoll Rand provides standard designs or totally engineered for heavy-duty and severe ambient installations, extreme temperatures or explosive environment conditions. The dryer packages can be packaged in a skid or containerized.

Why select a compressed air dryer?

Safe operation - Untreated air can cause corrosion and damage to pipeworks and the internal structure of your air compressor. Air dryers are used to dehumidify compressed (process) air to significantly lessen or eliminate water vapor present in the air stream, or to eliminate contaminated air. Industrial air dryers can be used to reduce the dew point of compressed air to below the lowest temperature obtained at site.

Reliable operation - Compressed air dryer packages will help to keep your air system running damage-free and your operation safe and reliable. Choosing an equipment with high quality components ensures a continuous supply of clean, dry air and reliable operation.

High-quality end-product - Air containing water vapor can cause product deterioration, which can be very costly for businesses. The compressed air dryer ensures that the air is pure and dry before it reaches the point of use, thus ensuring optimum quality of the final product.
