Ingersoll Rand – An Outlier of Growth
Grand Stevie Award – Achievement in Growth
Gold Stevie Award – Achievement in Growth
Judged for all growth-related achievements since 2020

Ingersoll Rand has grown steadily throughout its history but has experienced some of its largest growth in the past two years. Since 2020, the company has grown three times the market rate, more than doubled its size and has consistently outperformed the S&P 500 and Premium Industrial Peers by considerable margins. This list of accomplishments also included growth achievements in product innovation, mergers, acquisitions, market share, revenue and EBITDA.

Much of these accomplishments were completed during a pandemic, showing the company’s resiliency and adaptability in uncertain market conditions. Ingersoll Rand not only achieved great financial results, but it also built a strong foundation for long-term success. Driven by the culmination of employee-ownership, strategic expansion strategies, innovation, sustainability and purpose-driven execution, its achievements and growth make the company an outlier.

A Maverick in Sustainability Leadership
Bronze Stevie Award – Achievement in Management
Recognizes individual executive who’s impacted most positive change since 2020
Winner: Mary Betsch – VP, Sustainability

Mary Betsch, vice president of sustainability, has been recognized as a “Maverick” for her leadership at Ingersoll Rand. Since launching “Operate Sustainably,” a strategic imperative launched in 2020, Mary and her team have yielded impressive results, both internally and across supply networks. In addition to reducing its footprint - new products, innovations, technologies and investments have created tremendous value for customers addressing their own environmental objectives.

Ingersoll Rand’s commitment to sustainability has received much praise since 2020, most recently being honored with a Trailblazer Award in S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook (ranking within the top 15% in its industry category) and winning a 2022 Manufacturing Leadership Award for sustainability and circular economy. Betsch and her ESG team have been driving this progress.

This is the second consecutive year Ingersoll Rand will be honored at The American Business Awards. In 2021, the company was honored with three Gold Stevie Awards (Achievement in Management, Campaign of the Year Communications and Achievement in Human Resources) and two Silver Stevie Awards (Events and Observances Campaign of the Year and Most Valuable Corporate Response).
