Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Launch of HOLA

Ingersoll Rand’s journey to increase each employee’s sense of belonging continues with the launch of the Hispanic/Latinx Organization for Leadership and Advancement (HOLA) Inclusion Group. HOLA focuses on promoting, celebrating and educating about the diverse Latin culture while aiding with career progression and building a strong professional network. HOLA supports the Ingersoll Rand values and commitment to equity in opportunities for all employees.

Ingersoll Rand observes Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean or Central or South America. The launch of HOLA adds to Ingersoll Rand’s existing inclusion groups: the Black Employee Network, Women Inclusion Group and Veteran Inclusion Group.

“I am proud to sponsor HOLA and am amazed by the team’s excitement and tenacity,” said Santiago Duval, Ingersoll Rand vice president and general manager of Vacuum and Liquid Handling, Precision and Science Technologies. “I have seen firsthand the positive effect that inclusion groups can have on engagement and sense of belonging. I am also eager to see the opportunities HOLA creates for Ingersoll Rand through improved recruitment of capable and diverse talent.”
