Celebrating Her History: WInG women with more than 40 years service

During Women’s History Month in March, Ingersoll Rand is celebrating with the recognition of women who’ve made an impact in the company with 40 or more years of service.

Women’s Inclusion Group (WInG) council member Lisa O’Dell hosted “Lattes with Lisa” with Donna Hermansen, Diana Klauser, Judy Mowen and Linda Pasko, collectively representing 176 years of service. These women shared their experiences with Ingersoll Rand and its legacy businesses, reflecting on the changes they have seen related to representation of women in leadership, career and development opportunities and technology.

These women shared personal experiences and advice, all supporting three key takeaways:

  • Education is most important thing. Learn the company’s products, interact with other departments and share your thoughts. Don’t be intimidated; put yourself out there.
  • If you’re asked to make a change, inquire why. This allows you to open your mind to find better ways to implement the change.
  • Know your customers and how they use our products so you can adequately take care of them.
